Transcription: Having left Egypt, the people of Israel reached the foot of Mount Sinai. God tells Moses to climb the mountain. After fasting for 40 days, he receives the tablets of the law on which are written the Ten Commandments. Returning to the encampment, Moses discovers that during his absence, The Jews have taken to worshipping a golden calf, thus committing the sin of idolatry. In his fury, Moses smashes the tablets and punishes the wrongdoers. Then he returns to Mount Sinai and after another 40 days of fasting comes back to the Jews with new tablets containing the Ten Commandments.
